I have a 2nd generation runner - I bought a shelf it - this is a shelf
that screws into the ceiling where the sun visors go - I have a nice shelf
2" from the ceiling all the way across my runner - above my head.

My Cobra CB is mounted above my head in the shelf area. - sorry no pictures.

I like the over-head radio and the microphone is clipped to the moon roof
solid sliding panel.

4 runner kid - where did you get those fender flares on your runner -
I have the same runner - almost.

I put mine the ashtray slot. Truck is a 1991 pickup and radio is Uniden PC55, basically the same as the current XL 520.
