Thats your basic B&W home speaker tower - one side. The snail shape is actually a transmission line enclosure....

What I find funny is they went to the trouble to build that "snail" enclosure and they screwed up, it should be a "golden spiral" or "equiangular spiral" not a "symetrical spiral"
