Who's got an audio system that still leaves room in the cargo area?

Oh Sorry!

What I was asking was... How does it effect the performance of the 4runner? I know it's not the same, but I had a prelude with two 12"s in the back.. I actually bought it like that and took them out because the car had trouble with hills! How does the 4runner handle with the extra weight? I've only had it a few weeks, so no loaded lumber runs or camping trips yet...

I don't remember noticing any difference in power after adding the subs. Although I haven't taken them out since then. I would say that the difference is very little to none.

My car definately feel slower, but I have... I duno, probably about 200 lbs (maybe more) of stuff back there. And I think my suspension is slowly collapsing. Every now and then I get someone asking me if I lowered my truck. lol

This is what I am planning on going with. It may be a little pricey, but it looks like it will save alot of frustration and it will also look as close to stock as possible.

a little work and I got it to upload.

no before anyone harps on the crappy carpet job, I was planning on putting grills on the woofers to protect them. The grills that I bought (haddn't payd for yet) fit perfectly flush mounted and the carpet trim was a VERY snug fit and looked pretty good. I was going to clean up the carpet overlaps after I mounted the woofers. Only then do I realized that the OD of the woofer does not work with the grills, so I had to go without the grills and hence the crappy looking carpet job.

I've been too lazy to cut up the back pannels, so those haven't been fitted yet.

So here we go

my head unit

Origional box, took up lots of space

drivers side

passenger side

back side of drivers side, carpeted

passenger side carpeted (white fuzzy stuff is poly fill to try and fudge a bit and get some more airspace:pat: )

just for fun, here is a h2 that the shop I used to work for did the audio/video system for. they did this system in 3 days (72 hours w/out breaks) before it left for the sema show

front suspension

system

I'm sorry to be the one to say it but that H2 looks awesome. I'm not sure about funsction but it looks great. Wht size tires are those (need bigger ones)? The system is amazing though. Good stuff...now just put it in a 4Runner!

Oh I forgot to mention, that they have to run those tires to make the truck street legal. when at the sema show the rig was raised 6 inches on the coil overs and they had 52 inch tires! last time it was in, there were some dirt clots under the frame so it must have seen some mud, but I would assume 99% sure that the H2 won't go on any trails, this is a flat landers 4x4

In my 1st generation 4runner I made two side plates out of diamond plate welded on each side two enclosures to hold my amps... and mounted two bazooka tube on the rear rollbar, you know that spot in the rear that have the thread nuts welded on for you plus since I have a soft top and doors it all most makes it inpossible to steal the stuff....hope it helps any
