Time for a new head unit!

Well my JVC decided to start tweaking out so its time for a new HU.

I am looking for a HU that has a Aux. RCA input, CD changer capability, and is not a cheap piece of crap. I would prefer it to have around 50W per channel since I probably wont be getting an amp anytime soon since I have to get a new HU.
My price range is around $200-$350.

Please help me find a new HU!
Thanks

I know you said you want about 50 w per channel, but in reality you MIGHT get 12 from such said HU's. And that would be on a good day. I HIGHLY recommend you get a small amp. Old RF 100g2's can be found for 50 bux and will STOMP any HU's internal amp. Your ears will thank you!

I would direct you to Eclipse, however my knowledge base of HU's with RCA in's is limited....

I just came back from my favorite stereo place in my hometown..... I just bought an Alpine CDA-9835 for $412.50 (Regular $550) (Canadian dollars 964.85 reg, tax inc. I got it for 609.45 tax inc.)

It plays mp3, xm radio, bass engine, and 3 sets of rca out for front and back speakers, plus for subs. Plus it uploads information from a cd that you program from the Alpine website to set it to your likings.

Oh yeah, the input you have to buy a cable for, it's only about $20 and it plugs right into the back of the deck maing an rca imput, KAC-121B

I have the Kenwood DPX-MP4070. It's got all of the features that you requested:

AM/FM/CD/Tape/MP3
CD/MD Changer Controls
Built In MOSFET Amplifier
High Output Power Of 50 Watts (peak) x 4
2 Sets Of Pre-Amp Outputs: Front/Rear
Selectable Rear/Sub Pre-Amp Outputs
Auxiliary Inputs For External Audio Sources

It's also in the requested price range. I really, really like it.

Good luck.

Ok, now its been awhile and my HU didnt really die like I was kinda hoping it would, I still am wanting a new HU. This time I think the options I need are again AUX. In-put(s) and Out-puts. I dont really need it to be CD changer capable because I will have the iPod. XM or Serius ready would be cool but probably not in my price range....up to about $300. If you can think or a HU that isnt a piece of crap and that has those options that would be great!
Thanks

Alpine has an optional interface that allows you to control your ipod from the HU as well as charge it. If I could afford a new deck I would get one for the convenience with my ipod.

Check here, seems to have some competitive pricing and I just got an Alpine CDA-9833 (it also has the upload feature too) for $335 shipped. The CDA-9835 is only $375 so you could get it to your door for about the same price stevrock got his which is way cheaper than the $550+ the car places want.

I just picked up a used Alpine 9811 for $135 shipped from a guy on soundomain. It's a 2003 model, but easily worth what I payed for it.

You can always find a good deal on ebay or from the sounddomain classifieds.
