subs in standard cab

How many people here have put subs in a standard cab? I have a buddy with a ranger who put his sub behind the passenger seat. It sounds really good, but its annoying if you're sitting in the passenger seat. Soo, What's the best way to install a sub in my 87 yota standard cab without causing inconvenience to the passenger or myself?

LMAO!!!!

I had an '83 reg cab p/u and I fit a 10" sub with a truck box behind the pass. seat and the amp behind me... Yeah - you gotta scoot the seat up a little, but it's not too bad. I have a buddy who is 6'3" that would ride there, his knees barely touched the dash but he never complained!!!

The Kenwood kscsw1 is a newer model with more power that will still fit under your seat.

Does anyone know how the kscsw1 sounds? Also, does that take sub level inputs or speaker level inputs?

It takes both, but I don't know how it sounds. Google, Kenwood kscsw1, there are a couple of reviews on various sites.
