A little different than it is now, but you can check the old pics below to see pictures. 4 pioneer yellow cones in doors, factory tweeters removed. 2 12" Kicker subs with a 760 watt Pioneer amp, and a 250 pioneer amp for the mids. Alpine 9830 head unit. Bumps, Overall, I was very happy with it. Dont remember the speaker sizes or actual models, but hey, its a start, the pics are all the same except that head unit is gone, and I have a new(nicer) box.

Kenwood Head unit
Kenwood 4",front 5 1/4" rear Tweets in cargo powered off the deck
2 Kenwood 10" Subs and 2 Kenwood 250W 6X9"s powered off a cheap 800W amp.
My subs are in a box facing backwards right behind the seat and the 6X9's are mounted in boxes on top of the sub box facing forwards above the level of the backseat.
It sounds pretty dang awesome for a fairly simple and cheap system. The only problem I have is the powered 6X9's overpowering the 4" up front so I have it faded just a little bit to the front to compensate. I'm not a huge sound guy but I have gotten several comments from people so I guess it's alright.

- Nakamichi CD 30 headunit
- 4" Rockford Fosgate coaxial speakers in the stock boxes in the front
- 6.5" Infinity Kappa component system in the rear in modified stock boxes and using small stock amps. Tweeters mounted in the small grilles above the tailgate.
- Some half crappy Boss amp for my subs (it seems to work fine)
- Two 8" Infinity Kappa subwoofers in custom built and designed (by myself) enclosed boxes over the rear wheel wells
Nothing amazing but it plays plenty loud and with plenty of bass for me

My last system. I gutted it and am in the process of building a better USACi system that can still compete in DBDrag Street B.
The rear boxes were temporary and for now use only the front location for speakers.
I finished 6th in Western Canada Street A, finished 2nd in Canada for USACi Pro and I am the 130-139.9 Bass Race Canadian Champion.

It's all in my sig but I'm planning on upgrading the speakers when I feel the OEM ones aren't doing the job anymore but for now stock is good with some help from my MTX sub coupled to my 250w amp.
I also love having the iPod in the car and haven't listened to the radio in over 2 weeks.

Right now, Alpine CDA 9851 with PIE Inc. iPod wire, 5 1/4 rockford fosgates.
After I get bucket seats, I'll have components up front with a 8" sub behind the seats

Writeup? No, did this all by my head and with wierd carboard templates to get the volume and shape I wanted. All kinds of funny angles involved everywhere. There's a couple of details I'd like to change on them, but they work pretty well.

Hey, would love some advice as to how to upgrade my system without going nuts. I want to get some more bass in my face without having to put a huge box in my ext. cab. Any suggestions?
