Where is a good place to find stealthboxes for the 3rd Gen? I've tried ebay with no luck.

I have a dealer here that gives killer prices (Childhood Friend). It's in OH, and I don't think he can ship out of state. I would probably have to get it and ship it to you.

From my experience with JL Stealthboxes, you're better off saving your money and building your own box. They're really expensive and don't sound that great once installed even with a good jl sub in it.

I currently have a MDF box that sounds great, but I'm envious of these custom fiberglass enclosures (not that the stealthbox is "custom").

I have a brand new Q-Logic box that will hold a 10" , color is dark tan/oak, it is brand new, for 3rd gen for sale, bought it and changed my mind. Let me know if you're interested.

I own one and disagree (although they are expensive). I had to buy one from a local dealer. The tan color match isn't identical, but it is very close.

If you want to win contests, don't buy one. If you want a sub that can fill your cab with good, clean, loud bass, buy it. I listen to everything with it and it only struggles with the deepest bass in a few rap songs. Most rap sounds great. It goes plenty low for any Pink Floyd or Linkin Park for instance.

I called him. He said he could do it for $499 + shipping. He didn't mention tax.
He would probably entertain cutting deals for multiples. He's a real dealer with a real store in OH. He has sold JL for years.
Later guys!
Wes

hehe, that's a bit out of my range. I was hoping to find one in the 200 range, without the sub of course since I already have that.

Im confused by that sentence, but that's typical. From what I know, JL doesn't sell them empty, no matter how many you buy.

There is always an option to pull the W0 woofer out of there and replace it with a higher end woofer that takes close to the same ft3. The W0 is no joke though.

I was talking about your post above where you said:

What I meant was that it sounded like you could get a good price and that since he was a childhood friend, maybe he could get his hands on an empty one. I know that WO is no joke but the fact remains, I don't have the cash for a fully loaded box and I also already have a sub for it.
