Talking Ipod connected to factory JBL 6 Disc in HU

Ok installed my Neo iON today. Did a little write up with pics as well.

The sound quality is great, it seems a little softer than the in dash CDs. But nothing serious.

Also you have to select a playlist on the iPod and then you can use the HU or steering wheel controls to skip between songs. I also noticed when initially starting the steering wheel controls only works after you use the HU to switch between songs first.

Bid advantage is being able to use the iPod interface while being connected.

Also if you try to change "discs" on the HU or steering wheel it only changes songs, waskinda hoping it would go to the next playlist.

Works really well, should just get used to it and eventually find a mounting to have the ipod interface ready. However other things await.

Yeah it's pretty nice, will check it out more over the next week or so.

I might go down to SLO for a few trails this coming weekend, you going to be there? You can listen to it then, and see how it works.

PS: I spend another hour today cleaning off mud. GOt a small power washer at home now ( was only $50 at home depot). So after Hollister I have pwoer washed the truck twice, washed and waxed it, and today still got some mud off it. IH8MUD!!!!
