Finally! A shot of my box.

Ok so after 2 months of having it, I finally have a picture of it in my truck. Steve (BumpinYota) built it for me using the specs on JL's website.

You should have seen me trying to put it in... I put the speakers in the box first, then tried to put the box in the truck. It took about 20 minutes. The thing must be about 180lbs. It's much louder, and way more "butt" wattage too. I can actually feel the lows now! Thanks again Steve! If I ever come across anyone in need of a custom box, I'll send 'em to you.

Right now I just have the amp listed in my sig. It's not much, but it sure does the job. I'm actually glad I waited to buy the amps (going to be 2 JL 500/1's) because with the wattage I'm using now, I know the 1000/1's I wanted would be way too much.

With what I have now, I rattle the windows when I pull up to my house

You know, you could get an amp that runs at 1000x1 in bridged mode and wire both subs into it. That way each sub would still be getting about 500 watts, and it would save space because you'd only need 1 amp.

Glad ya liked the box bro! I got worried after not hearing from ya for a while there! LOL As far as amps go buy a zapco c2k-9.0 xd2 and REALLY rock your world... (2200 watts X 1 @ 2ohm RMS at 12.5v ) I bet your neighbors LOVE you now!! hahahaha

Hey go put a stack of pennies on your roof right above where the subs fire to then put on a bass song.... I did that a while back just to make fun of powered 4 sound's vids...LOL I think I put a few dents in my roof too!

I specialize (or do I just love) in building boxes that make you deaf, sound great, and make you hated by your older neighbors!

Haha I'll try the penny thing tomorrow. Dude the panels already vibrate like they're gonna fall off. I still can't get over the sound. Loud and clean even at low levels... Like I'll have the radio up about 1/8 of the way, stand in front of the truck and still hear the bass pretty good (I know the neighbors can!).
