Darn Deck!!!!
hello all, i am having a problem with my cd/cassette am/fm combo unit on mt 2000 taco. i do belive the unit is taking a dump because i dodest play cd's anymore and the laser lens i clean as a whistle,it is about 2.5 years old and gets heavy use. that particular unit is the second one in there replacing the first one under warranty so this whole feasco dose not suprise me, iwould like to go with the stock deck again like the nice oem 6 disk changer by jbl it looks like,or just go out and get on of those crasy lookin ones with 64 different backround colors
and if so what is a good one for my taco?

Personally, I like aftermarket decks because I prefer using MP3 cds [200 songs on 1 disk] as opposed to regular cd's or a bulky disk changer. I have both sony and pioneer units but I find the sonys to be easier to navigate through menus/settings and like the remote better.
That being said I have a stock 2000 tacoma radio like the one you have now that I just listed on e-bay for $25. I also put an ad for it in the Yotatech classifieds, check it out if your interested.
