Question cargo/brake light gasket (XM install)

I'm a newbie here and couldn't be happier to find such a great site. I have an 04 tundra crew cab and recently installed my XM radio SkiFi 2 unit. I chose to take the antenna out through the cargo/brake light. While it wasn't easy, I got it done. However, I had to comprimise the gasket that sourounds the light. Now, all looks good after putting everything back together, but I am unsure if I need to reseal this area and if so what to use? It looks tight but am I just asking for problems down the road?

Also, I made a slick mounting bracket out of 2" alum. stock for mounting the unit in the ash tray. I will post pictures if anyone is interested.

lets see some pics

As far as the gasket goes, keep an eye on it. If you think it sealed up then wait and see if it did.
