antenna input

antenna input

is it in any way possible to detach the antenna wire from the back of a cd deck and connect a different type of audio device (ie iPod) to it?

yeah, get a wired fm modulator, connects to your antenna input and gives you rca inputs (plus an antenna inpt so you still have your antenna). Then get a 1/8" to rca or whatever cable conversion you need for the device.

If you have a stock headunit, consider an aux input adapter such as the one from PIE or from Blitzsafe. Bunch of other options too such as Dension IceLink and iPod2Car both of which allow for some degree of iPod control from the headunit.

These units plug into the CD changer connections and fool the HU into thinking theres a CD changer in place.
