I wonder if two 6-inch subs would work well there on the right side, without any major mods? Hmmmmmm.....

you could probably physically fit 2 6inch there. The only thing you have to worry about is the volume of airspace you need for those speakers. i barely had enough volume in the box for that 12 and in hindsite a 10 would have probably worked better. I'll see if i can post a website here that shows the minumum and maximum volume's that box's have to be for each type of sub.
