05 Taco Speaker Options

My first time here so here goes.

I just binned my factory speakers and thought some other 05 d-cab owners would like to know that the front doors will easily fit 6by9's and the rear doors take 6.5's. The OEM's were tiny 20 watt paper things...Had to modify the factory plastic adapters a bit to clear the door glass going down.

I installed Alpine type S speakers all around and now it sounds great with the OEM 6 cd

Has anyone installed an amp and sub with the OEM head unit? I would like to but I need more info.

How much space is there for amps under the rear seat? Would a JL 300/4 or 450/1 and a JL 500/1 fit under there?
