as a registered Apple dev, a stand alone YotaTech browsing app for the iPhone was going to be my first app

unfortunately the programs needed to create and edit applications are only supported (officially) on Mac systems, and I'm on a PC

I've been doing more research though, and I think I've stumbled on some emulators and ways around that, that will allow me to develope and program iPhone and iPod apps through Windows

we'll see how it works

Bleeder, that is awesome. But tapatalk is just a plug-in for v-bulletin that is free for forum owners that will allow android ipod iphone and blackberry to use it with one app that is already made!

yeah but that app costs 2.99 to get (the full version anyhow)

mine was going to be free

I WAS however going to charge for my next app idea; an app that allowed you to create, edit, and organize photo albums; something that Apple should have integraded into the OS to begin with

there has been a thread about this in the staff section for a while..... at this point the answer is now. IB is suppose to be working on phone specific skins for Vbulletin for the website... i'll bump the staff thread to see if there is an update on the process.

Tapatalk rocks! Totally worth the $2.99 for the app and the free install on your end. I browse 4 forums with tapatalk installed, much easier than navigating with the android browser on the phone.

We do have a mobile version plugin we are running right now, there is a thread on it on the forum.

It loads very fast, I am using it with Droid and the stock browser.
