Question regarding browser
Not sure where to post this. . .
I am having a weird problem reading text from posts in some threads because the text goes too far to the right and I have to scroll over to view it, and then back to start reading the next line. I have this only on this website and pirate 4x4, and it's not on all threads, most threads are fine. Don't know if it is my PC or what. I have a 17" monitor a 800X600 on a Dell dimension 4100 (Windows ME) with IE6.0. . .latest updates.
Thanks for the help!

Try selecting a different theme (lower left corner of the screen). It's possible that our default theme isn't working properly for you.
Do you have your browser window maximized?

That resolution isn't going to work well with this forum. You need at least 1024x768. A different theme might also solve the issue, but most likely it's your resolution.

Alan, there are a couple of things... Chris and Mike have pointed out the theme issue, but beyond that, it can be an issue with the content in the thread itself, namely people posting pictures.
For example, the way the themes here are designed, folks have about 700ish pixels of width before things get weird. If someone post something wider than that, then since you can't wrap a picture, and the theme won't _resize_ a picture, then it will show at the full width. Since the net result is that the rendered page is too wide for your browser, it will make your browser set up for horizontal scrolling.
Bottom line... Kick your display resolution to 1024x768 - you'll be happier on a LOT of other sites as well.
