These "stickied" advertising threads by "Post Release" are going to get really annoying. Especially since they are locked and people can't add real world info about what they are trying to sell.

Exactly! That's what caught my attention first.
Stickies are supposed to be for important really good information for that section (recalls, lifts, maintenance, etc...). Tire reviews could easily be a part of that, but they are usually open so that you can read and post real world reviews from users about that tire.
Stickies should not be "locked" advertising threads! If anything unlock them so that others can post their experience with those tires.

probably $$$$$$$$
edit: Just to clarify, I don't think they paid a mod to do it, but they probably paid IB to do it.

Post Release is on many forums.
They have certain privies in order to lock a thread.
I have asked in the past about just putting up one thread and IB agreed that was all that was needed.
Post Release is only suppose to put up one thread for this stuff.
They post over here too.

Corey and Aviator, I was pretty sure it was an IB thing and had nothing to do with you guys (staff and mods). I just wanted to make sure there was a thread about it so that we could voice our dissapproval and IB would take notice of how innappropriate it is.
Keep up the good work and hopefully IB will take notice and insure PostRelease plays by the rules.

That way the threads are in one area for all to see.
I have seen a lot of good deals in the past posted both here and at the FJ forums I use.
They had some good Pioneer DVD/Nav stuff for rigs.

Corey, that seems like a good idea. The can "sticky" all the threads they want in their own section. That and it makes sense that it should be in the "vender" section.

, But x2 what chris said...
...I was thinking the same thing too..
relentless reposting does not make me want to buy a product, research and first hand experience does.
