It seems like the issue was solved for a while... do you have any control over it? Can you change it?

No I do not.
They have an ad department that sets up the code for the Google ads to flow in.

Most ads are based on keywords.
Input the word tampon or kotex, and you may see an ad for that later

Some other ads here though such as WabFab's are hard coded in.

I have already sent a message to the powers who are in the department to handle this.

For the record, I see zero ads since I run Firefox.
You could not pay me to run Internet Explorer.

Just an update.
It seems Circuit City is at it once again in other forums also.
YotaTech is not the only forum to get hit with CC's latest tactics.

The ad team is aware of it, and they will take care of it.

I think most who saw these ads are using IE.
As stated above, I see zero ads with Firefox and Ad Blocker Plus.

I feel cheated, no popups. Stupid Safari browser

Like Corey said FireFox and Ad Blocker Plus for you PC'ers, works pretty well.

How is that Safari?
A few times a month I get the auto pop up screen telling me there are updates to iTunes and Quicktime which I then instruct it to install.

I uncheck the box for Safari, as it is included in the updates as an option.
