Number of threads in forum
Is there a way to set the number of threads you see when you enter a forum? The reason I ask is that since the site changed it takes a lot longer to load the forum view. Until the forum loads completely none of the menu's or drop-downs like 'Forum Tools' will work. Since I go back and forth between viewing threads and the forum index I would like to shrink the number of threads that show up so it loads faster. I'm using the Yotatech Extreme view with linear flat threads. Currently it always loads 120 threads per forum page.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Try going in to your user CP, and select Edit Options. I think what you're looking for is at the bottom of the page. You should be able to set the # of threads per page there.

I tried that. I have it set to 40 threads per page. This seems to affect how many replies are shown on a page when I view a thread, but it doesn't affect how many thread titles are shown when I view a forum.

I will look into this weekend, but not Friday, time for me to kick back.
The old software it was easy, but I think I know what's going on.
To see all the users in the "Who's On" list, I think I set it to 120 or so, because it was breaking the Who's On list into 2 or more pages, and it's easier to see all the members on one page.
If that is the case that it and the threads per page both share the same setting, I can set it down to a smaller # so the pages load quicker.
Only thing is for the people who check to see Who's On, they will have to span the list over a few pages.
The old software did not share this same setting.
Still getting use to this new software, gazzilions of more settings than the old forum.
