New Banner

Ran out of things to do tonight, this was the result:

Kept the same basic look as the current one.
What do you guys think?
Time for a new banner?

Maybe I am going to catch major flak...

Why does it say "...off-roading adventure..."?

Let the modification adventure begin? Perhaps just let the adventure begin?

Of the rigs in the current logo, only 60% are in wheeling situations in the pic and I do not think that is representative of the "membership" as a whole.

I write this not poking fun or outing people, just asking questions and offering observations. Critique and flame as needed.

I just wrote what is says on the current one. Easy to change if desired.

60%? Not a single truck is on pavement, and half of them are flexing. What do you call a wheeling situation?

Rob and Mike's truck are sitting still. I think Mike's pic is on pavement. No harm meant to either of those guys. They do wheel their trucks, but those pics are not representative of that.

Steve's rig is not flexing, that hole at Box Canyon is up and over unless you are stupid like me. Shane's truck is climbing, I would not say flexing.

I think the last rig is Good Times? I forget his first name, but it is on rocks and appears to be wheeling.

Both Rob and Shane now have solid axles.

I did not mean to offend the creator of the new banner or the old one, only to pose questions.

OK, wheres the pic now? A red "X" isn't a very good banner.

There was a whole thread debating this when the new banner first came out. Don't remember the end result of it though.

I like the design, like Bob says it does look a bit like Toyota's current campaign. I have trouble distinguishing specifics because of the lettering but that's not a big thing

I like the idea a lot..but to me with the letters over the pictures I feel it may be a tad too busy and hard to see.

Everything can be altered easy, I have the PSD version with all the layers. I just would like to see something where Yotatech is prominent in the banner, and not tucked away into the corner.

Does the letters over the pictures look like a familiar style?
Toyota does the same thing in their adverts.

IMHO of course...

I think if you increase the transparency (reduce opacity?) on the letters, it may make it easier on the eyes. I know that when I look at it, I'm trying to look at the rigs, but the letters are "fighting" it by being too bold.

I really love the concept!!

I agree with Mike, make the letters easier to see through.

I was not attacking the design, I was asking a question that is, as of yet, unanswered. Is there a "mission statement" of sorts?

The response seems to be positive, so I took a moment and listened to a couple opinions.
I reduced the opacity on the lettering from 80% down to 60% and I added in a few different rigs.
What's the general consensus now? Any nicer?

Don't have names for them, I don't put names to trucks. Only ones I know are Steve's and Coreys.

I just saw this thread. The letters are still too opaque. Maybe it would help if the background pics were in color, letters in white?

Also, from another thread, is that a Finnish Spitz in your sig?
