How to NOT be subscribed to every thread I post in?

I see the subscription section in the Control Panel...but it only lets me clear current subscribed threads....

How can I keep from subscribing in the first place? ( besides not posting..lol)

I get blasted with emails from the site....help.

Well I found out how.. under settings and options....edit options

I had to un-select instant email notification.

I assumed it was just under subscriptions....but its in another area all together.

same "drop down box" (where it says "selected threads") pick what ones you want to un-subscribe to and choose "DELETE SUBSCRIPTION".

i have yet to actually do that.....because once i eliminated all those emails it became much less of a pain in the butt

You can actually subscribe to individual forums and ignore the rest. Tons of ways to customize the notifications if you will do some searching and play with some settings.

You think you get a lot of emails

Wabbit is right - I have mine set to give me daily updates of our Staff section and a few other sections on here.

The rest I just browse using the New Posts feature.

Yeah, you guys think you get a lot of emails/notifications...I have 13 unread PM's in my Inbox right now just from two nights and I haven't even checked my YotaTech email yet.

I'll hopefully get to those today on my lunch break but we shall see...
