MODS: Can we create a section or a sticky thread to post scams for people to flag? There are several posted every day just in seattle alone, and the faster the scammers get flagged down the better off everyone, including us in the Toyota community are.

 

I can add a scam sub forum, where would be best, classifieds?

 

The sooner its seen the better, so if its possible something that shows up in the right hand column on the main page. (eg. Off Topic does not show up) I know I click on a lot of those just becuase they are easily seen from the front page.

However, if that doesn't make sense within the forums, the classifieds would work methinks. It seems to really be the place that makes the most sense.

This way people can post up about scams on CL, Ebay, and what they get in their emails as a warning to other people.

Not sure if it should include scams from this board as well, as we already have a place for that?

Perfect, Thanks a Mil Corey. I know we are but a spec in the eye of these millions of scams, but if we can make even the smallest of dents, i think we are doing a good job!

And at the very least we can keep fellow YT'rs informed, so they dont give away $4500 for a landcruiser they will never see!
