I have a 1990 Toyota 3.0 truck with a 2001 3.4 that was installed by previous owner but he did not finish the job . Will this year motor even work for me or am I wasting my time , I read somewhere there is a immobilizer unit that wont allow truck to stay running it this true or can I get around this unit?

 

also read that there is a drive by wire on the 2001 3.4 that would need to be addressed is there a solution for this . Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Never heard about an immobilizer, pretty sure that was only Lexus in this time period. Other threads will have the list of what you need for wiring. No fuse box.
