Yoder's bumper build

Alright so started on building my bumper today, took a few measurements. Lined out cutting points on the steel. Im using 3/16" steel because its not heavy like 1/4" but it still can take one heck of a beating .

Should be cutting it out on monday then depending on my schedule putting it together this week. I also did a block test today since ive suspecting a head gasket problem and i was right so i will prob be doing a head gasket job this sat too ha. i have a few pics and ill keep them coming no worries guys. Dont know why the pics are sideways ha. Also suggestions and tips before its built is greatly appreciated.

What size opening are you doing for the fairlead? I need to cut one in mine but do not have a fairlead yet.

If you want Coors to sponsor your bumper build, your going to have to turn the bottles so the lable is facing the camera.

Looking good so far.

Dan we are just going off the fairlead we have now. Suggest getting one first then cutting the hole.

ha actually its my neighbors but if you throw cash at him he dont care ha, here are a few pics. It's almost done!just have to weld a few spots where worm holes occurred cuz the wire feed was too fast and i ran out of gas , did 45 degree corners also bought lights with the grommits fer the blinkers.

Very nice may have to swing by Les Schwab on my way home to check this out in person the next time I see you there...very similar to the one I want to build...just going to go a slightly different route on the blinkers...where did you get the metal for it, just stuff you had about or?
