Yet ANOTHER front bumper question...

Hey everyone. First time ever posting to a forum. have a 88 pickup that I want to start an easy front bumper build. Since the truck is boxy, i want to use square tube. I know its not necessarily as strong as dom or other tube, but I already have alot of it laying around. Plus I dont have a bender or torch, just a buzz box. Has anyone ever seen/done this and if so, any pics? Thanks! Also, upclose pics of good mounting points/techniques would help too. This is my first project.

you might consider using a Trail Gear front Winch Mount as the base for your bumper:

maybe im tarded tc, but i cant find it. i guess what im talking about for my design is basically a "baja" style bumper made from square tube. i dont do 4x4 so excessive armor like in some of the links seems a bit much for me as i dont slide on boulders too much! just romp the dirt, ya know?

Lots of ideas for front bumpers. Try searching for "front bumpers" perhaps online here and then using

I've done a few out of 2x3, 2x4 and 3x4 tubing with little more than an angle grinder, a welder and some patience.

Good luck.
