3rd gen 4runner Custom front bumper build

I am currently working on a custom tube front bumper for my 3rd gen 4runner. I am going to be using 2"x2" square tube, 1.5" & 1" round tube, .25 plate, and 16 guage sheet metal.

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

More pictures to come, should be finished monday. Comments? Opinions?

that center tube? kinda odd how that is gonna make it strong with the outers, yet i know you are no where near done, so im sure Brad has something to fix that with, just caught my eye.

cant wait to see finished product.

Yep your right, he has a plan. There are gonna be some tubes that connect from either side of it, and the winch mount is going to intergrate into it, plus the brush bar hoops also tie into it. But this is the begining, we would be farther into it but Brad has gotten really sick, and i leave for college on thursday. So i am gonna come back home prolly next week and we are gonna finish it up.

Me either.

I just hope he gets better.

For the satashi mod, there are gonna be 4 hella 500's in the way of th grille, so i am not really worried about the satashi mod, plus its not like its hard to remove the grille.

Thanks Guys

I think you should try with out the tube going around headlights and see what that looks like. Just a thought but I do like the concept.

Not finished yet, my fabricator's wife left him like 3 days after we started the bumper, and he has been out of it and now he is finally getting better, and i moved 80 miles away.

He is gonna do what he can without my truck this week, and i am gonna drive down and we are gonna try and finish it Friday or in two weeks. I cant wait to get it done, started it over a month ago.

I will post up pics when its done.

Yeah i am glad to be working on it too, we should finish it today. We are drilling a hole in the running lights, and putting in another bulb so the running lights will act as turn and running lights. I will try and get some pics later today of it.
