Spring Mount Measurement

Could somebody give me the width of the front mount of a SAS rig? I am looking for the mount that the spring will bolt to, not the entire assembly. I am not near my rig and will be going to a steel shop later today. And what thickness is the mount.

Thanks

i think it lists this on trail gears web site, 3/16ths to 1/4 thick i think, probably 1/4 would be better, fabbing your own hanger? you can buy just the hanger kit for a steal and not a whole sas kit

Save yourself a lot of headache and just buy the front hanger. By the time you buy the steel, cut brackets, weld materials you won't save any money and could have already welded the other on and be wheeling.

Well I got the new mounts made and installed. Boy what a differnce the suspension is when you dont have the springs banging on the bottom of the frame. The truck drive like a differnt rig. Now to lengthen the driveshaft, i really dont have much engagement on it now.

Thanks
