Duals and R151 Turbo tranny are in now. I managed to use a few center console parts from a 90' 4runner to get this done along with re-using the intermediate console section from my stock setup. I used the front shifter boot setup, and a rear heater center console from the 90' V6/5spd 4runner. I was able to retain the rear heater, and the twin sticks really help with not have to deal with moving the factory rear window switches and wiper as well.
I modified the 90' V6 shifter slightly to work, and then used a forward shift shifter base with the 88' stick on the front Tcase. The original forward shift shift was hitting the dash/stereo.
IMO, this turned out much better than I thought it would. It actually was a pretty clean install considering the mutt of parts used to do this.

90' 4runner center console

Rear pinion angle is money $$$

Built the front CV shaft myself. I noticed no runout and no vibes on the shaft up to 65mph.

Overall interior

Did you have to move the rear heater assy. itself or the heater hoses?
I noticed that you added spacers to the crossmember, was this to clear the hoses? Did you use the stock bolts that came with the crossmember and where did you pick up the spacers? Do you have a body lift?
Sorry for all the questions, but I want to keep my rear heater when I install my dual cases. I don't have a body lift and I'm not going to run one. I looked under the vehicle and the hoses look close, but I think I can get around that. My main concern is the rear shifter / rear heater clearance.

The 4cyl motors do sit about 2.5-3" further back, so the center console could be an issue, but I have seen guys that have been able to retain them with duals and the 22R design.
I know that the A/T is shorter than the R151, so if you are keeping the A/T and going with an inchworm dual setup then you might be okay.
