Rory D.'s 82 build in progress

Been doing a few things here and there all summer, today I had some free time and finished getting my GPS mounted in the dash. I have an external antennae for it so I can have it in the dash. Also a pic of the cockpit.


Then I got this sign as a present from my daughter:

When I see that dash, I think "Warp speed, Mr. Sulu!", and then I remember it's an old Yota with a 22r and will barely hit 55 on level ground. And I think you may have given me the idea I needed as to how to mount my Galaxy CB radio...

More like "warped speed" in my case, definitely not a DD. Glad I could help with the ideas.

Going to update the Switch and Gauge panel since I moved the GPS into the dash, maybe something like this...........

Switches and gauges

Well I got all the switches from OTRATTW just found these guys and having top quality rockers with the labeling on the switches is tops!



Also had to get an Aluminum blank to cut this thing out of. Here's all the switches laying on the aluminum.

Switches

Well I made the new panel for the switches, still have the wiring to do, man that's going to be a bunch of work. I still have to mount lights too.
