Well I was gonna post a build thread at the end of the project. But I broke my old phone with everything on it. So here is the final result, with some of the build pics.

Thank, I been working on her slowly over the last 8 years and I still got a long way to go. Right now I'm back and forth with either a long travel kit or doing a SAS. I'm leaning towards the SAS though.

Well, do you need a solid axle?

Yes and no, I'm a hunter so I find myself treating my truck like a quad quite often. But I've yet to get into a situation that my IFS couldn't handle. Its one of those things that when I'm pushing my truck to climb certain hills it would be nice to have the articulation of a solid axle as well as lockers.

Looks great. It's very rewarding when you fabricate stuff like this yourself.

That's what its all about man, I get a rush from finishing projects and then driving my truck down the road. I don't give a ˟˟˟˟ my trucks 24 years young. I feel like its the badest thing on the road when I finish a project. Any Toyota owner that takes pride in his vehicle knows what I'm talking about.

Well I decided since its gonna be a month or two before I get the money to line-x my roof rack. That I just spray paint it for the meantime. So I can at least put it up on the truck. Here's some pics from the almost finished project.

that is a nice setup!
what are the rails you are using?
how much weight would you trust that to hold?
is it noisy? (vibration/wind)
again, looks nice.

I got the rails off a 4runner down at my local toyota wrecking yard. I just cut them in half and picked up 4 more of the end cap things for em. And on the weight thing I'm not sure what my max load is yet. To be safe I'll probably try to keep my max load under 50lbs on it. There is absolutely no vibration from it and the wind isn't bad at all, best way I could describe it noise wise is if you have ever drove with some one who has mud tires, its MUCH quieter then that. And you only ever hear it at 65mph+.
