Well I have been going to school to be a diesel & heavy equipment technician- and working in a couple shops. I did get it in there, but I took it out to rebuild it- good thing I did because it had stuck rings on 3 pistons. I upgraded the hell out of the engine, with a stage 2 cam, rosten rods, new bearings and rings, pp762 injectors from kerma, a chip tune, an 11mm pump, a vnt turbo upgrade that puts out 24 psi, straight pipe exhaust, a huge front mount intercooler, a new aluminum radiator, and a few other little goodies. I chopped the top and welded on a top with a sunroof, bobbed the bed, had my buddy help me bob the topper to match, and welded in fish plates for the new motormounts to reinforce the frame. I am working on making new motormounts hopefully tomarrow, and the engine will be going back in. I need to purchase a good donaldson air filter, re-do some plumbing and wiring, and start doing body work and paint. I am considering a divorced overdrive unit for freeway use- wont work in 4wd, but it will allow me to split every gear and achieve much higher freeway speeds, and better fuel economy. I have a ton of pics.. been tinkering on it here and there... but just havent been able to put any serious time in to it. I havent given up though, I am hoping to get it done this fall. Should h ave about 200 hp and 400 ftlbs, and still get like 30-35 mpg
