i would go 1uz for sure, but im about to finalize a deal this weekend on trading my motorcycle and a little cash for a great looking samurai- If I do Ill strip down my 4runner, use the sammi as a DD, build a LWB sammi frame in my garage, put the entire toyota drivetrain under it from the tranny back, snag a vw 1.9l tdi to strap in there, then in one day plop the sammi body and LWB bed on it. You guys think my yota axles will handle 300+ ftlbs of torque @ 2000 rpm on 35-38" tires?

went to dive school down there- awesome gator and oysters, love the food down at the redneck riviera. 3 dollar pitchers and 3 dollar bakers dozen of oysters is a good day all day long. yea when I was in the army I went through the navy's dive school so I was down there for about 6 months through the winter and spring. Spring break was an ass kicker, I had waaay too much fun for a study environment, almost got thrown out of school a few times 8D. My favorite place down there was a little kareoke bar down at the end of the strip on the right next to the liquer store- we always seemed to end up there makin fools of ourselves. good times.

well a better oppertunity has presented itself, I have picked up a new project and sadly will be parting out this 4runner to fund it. Anyone who is looking to buy parts let me know.

95 s-10 blazer with a k5 blazer frame, dana 60 front, dana 70u rear, arb air lockers front and rear, sitting on like 8 inches of lift with a chevy 350 and a th400 and np205 in it.
The transmission needs a new torque converter, the engine runs like hell, the drivers door sags, and it needs a new rear window.
Im looking at putting a newer vortec with a tbi into it along with a 5 speed manual transmission and keeping the np205. Ill be changing the steering to crossover, lowering it by alot (maybe going to factory springs) and doing some interior work. Heres some pics for ya.

Too bad about the 4runner I really did like that thing :/
You should pull the body off that and box the frame completely..
And then ditch the S10 body, and snag a K5 body...
S10's are so crappy :/
