We'll I'm honored you'd register just b/c of some pics of my truck. It's a good site to contribute to overall. You have anything to done to yours or just getting started? The body filler sanding is a major PITA on areas as big as I did on this rear end chop and bob. If I ever were to do something similar again I'd def look into a power sander b/c hand sanding all that was HELL

whats crazy is that when i bought the downey coils from you a couple years ago, i looked at your SASed truck and thought, "i'd never chop up my truck like that" fast forward 2 years and its already SASed and now i'm thinking the angle grinder and sawzall need to be lock up when ever i drink cuz i REALLY wanna chop the rear off....... lol

your truck is amazing.....

It's getting there, but nowheres near done yet.

Thats the way this hobby goes. Your limits for what you would and wouldn't do to your truck just keep getting more and more extreme.

How dat ?

I just traded my 550s in for some stock 440's b/c I'm tired of trying to tune them, and the injectors + piggy-back about pay for coil-overs outright. More updates hopefully coming soon.

fixed it for you, its actually not been tested at all yet but all signs point towards that being the case. I won't ever run across another clone of my truck most likely. Everyone has a SAS and lockers now, thats no big deal anymore since the kits started getting mass-produced.

I think a few videos could be in order when you do test out how it performs

Were you street tuning it, or did you have it on a dyno? Just curious, b/c after all that work you put into your motor I'd hate to see it lean out and pop when it's cold out and you're spinning your tires in the mud. (I know you all too well... lol)

I had a starting fuel map made for a 7M with 550s but it was retarded rich , like off the scale on my A/F gauge 90% of the time, I messed for a couple days on the street just trying to lean out the vacuum regions to something reasonable never even trying for boost and decided it wasn't worth it to me anymore. I sold my 550s and MAP-ECU already, just need to wire in the stock 440s i have sittin in the garage now and everything should run like clockwork. The money I made back pays for a good bit of the hardware for my 4link, and the stock ECU/AFM should handle everything fine for me.

BTW, i see your behemoth roaming around town alllll the time.

Repeat after me.

I will NOT get retarded with the boost.

I will NOT get retarded with the boost.

I will NOT get retarded with the boost.

You know as well as I do that those stock injectors aren't good for much boost at all, and you know that you'll be wheeling in areas with cool, dense air. I don't want to see a lean spike b/c of an overboost scenario (still running the stock wastegate?) and have you pop that purty motor.

That's my only concern, and that's b/c I know your propensity for doing one-wheel burnouts in a mini-van. I can only imagine your right-foot fondness for your turbocharged Runner.

If you decide to go bigger and want to dyno tune it, let me know. I've got access to two or three around town. Tuning a MAP ECU is super easy.

The LC is still roaming around. Got some bigger springs and a desire for 40's. Hah. 37's are keeping me happy for now.

If the wastegate sticks closed and it gets over-boosted, its getting a 3.4, would be so easy after messing with all this turbo stuff.
