Lift done w/ adjustable panhard bar
I finally got my lift done. Cruisers in the rear, cranked t-bars in front, rancho 9000s on all corners, adjustable panhard bar, fj80 wheels, and 285 terra grapplers.Pics will be up soon.

I made the adjustable panhard bar, got a friend to help me with the welding. Its a Brianfab product
I am working on some designs for a front bumper w/winch and a rear bumper with tire carrier. My friend is really excited to help with these. Just gotta save up some cash and call in some hook ups on the steel. Also eventually will be relocating the gas tank and doing custom links in the rear and custom upper and lower control arms in the front with vertically oriented uniballs in the front.

I plan on fabbing up a front bumper before the end of the summer, just gotta get winch dimension and figure out how to do bends like bruce did. I can get steel cheap so that helps a lot.

Looks good. I did this also to the 4R, before my SAS. Worked just fine for me also.
One comment though: the thread of your panhard bar should be on one side, not the middle. That's exactly the spot were the bending forces when cornering are the highest. There are push and pull forces which will try to bend the bar, starting from the middle and that's were your thread is. Move it to either side and also use a locking nut.
The thread will otherwise wear out. Everytime the suspension moves the thread winds and unwinds causing wear.
Keep in mind that ALL joints, like Heims, Johnny's etc., use a locking nut to prevent this. Your own steering joints use clamps on the bars to prevent this also.
It will not fail immediatly ( I know cause I build scarier crap myself
) but its better to be safe than sorry.
