High - steer??????? Not again

Hey everybody, just have a quick question about installing High Steer on an 81 p-u, I know this question has been covered several times before, but I still don't have a good answer. When installing the IFS steering box frame support brackets, some toy's have a straight frame, but some taper outward on the inside of the frame, meaning it gets wider towards the front by the radiator support, I know several people have done high-steers with this problem but, I have actually not seen any, I have asked many people and got some of the most BS answers, I even asked trail gear and was pretty surprised to hear what they said, and that was to bend the inside bracket and weld it in place, in my eye's that don't seem very structurally sound and besides the front holes would not match up, I'm not an engineer, but I do have common sense, I thought about shimming the inside and welding it into place and /or boxing the frame, I just want a clean and strong install, does anyone have any idea's....
I would greatly appreciate any and as many pics as anyone can send...

Please HEEEELLLLPPP... This is driving me NUTS.... sorry so long

Drill out holes to accept tubes if need be. Clamp plate down and weld it up. Nothing to it.

Yeah just sleeve the holes you drill for the bolts to go through.
It'll be fine.
