It has begun...

The transformation of my truck.
so this is gonna be kinda like a build thread. lol

two weekends ago me and alex (algranger) welded the rear in my truck
and yay pics!

it ended up lookin pretty good!!

so we had to go test out my new locker.
we went out to elbe and wheeled it pretty hard.
and upon my return home i noticed that i broke one of the springs in the right rear corner.

i've been busy at work and got both springs and everything removed getting ready to my 63" spring swap which i bought the springs for today and i'm ordering the sky kit for it tomorrow!
yay for me!
o and i will take pics tomorrow for all of you pics or it didn't happen folks out there

did some more work today. got both springs and everything out. and cut the front spring hanger off the drivers side then i ran out of cutting wheel and they were out at the store so the other side has to wait til tomorrow.
then i get my steel to make the new front hangers and new shackles for the rear. doin the double shackle set up.

and on to the pics

and this is one of the springs
i took out the third one so i can keep it low for now

and this is how it sits on jack stands

oh and this is whey i started it in the first place

this little helper spring slid all the way so i decided to fix it

hhhhheeeeeeelllllllllooooooooo justin! i see you still have my 7/8 sitting in your tool box. haha. your going to want to keep an eye on the rear shackle when deciding where to center your axle under your truck. i moved my rear axle back to help with shackle angle and to make sure i had more room to flex. i will be watching. the tops of your U-bolts might hit your frame on full compression.

Haha cutting the hole was the hardest part i checked checked and double checked then hacked into it with a sawzall. I made the hole way too big but i'm gonna fill it with ultra expanding Great Stuff. Dont want water pouring in right on my feet lol.

Looking back a hole saw would have been a lot better but i'm to cheap to spring for a bi metal hole saw

Oh and i have a bunch of extra pvc and maybe some more elbows i can help you set that thing up
