Exo, armor, and fun!!

So I have been working on a front bumper and after getting some rock damage on the quarter panel I have decided to make the plans for some real armor. What tubing should I buy, what gauge what diameter?

1.75 is great. But I would only use it for the bumpers and sliders. For the exo I would use 1.5" IMO 1.75" is to big for a 4 door wagon, it looks goofy.
