custom sway bar ...

I need to build a "custom" sway bar for my Trekker build .. as it's mostly going to be a tow rig . with about ~280HP (3.4L supercharged) .

I know it's gotta be "spring steel" so ya just cant bend one up ...

I'm going to try a local spring shop , and hopefully they can help .. any Ideas ?

Why custom built? You can get bolt-on front and rear bars for the solid axle trucks, stock or from Addco.

Or get something like the Currie anti-rock sway bars:

I need custom because of the engine swap .. I have the 3.4L and havnt swapped the oil pan .. I'm using the stock steering

I was considering swapping the pan , but it brings it to close to the diff for my comfort ..

Easy enougn to just lower the bar down off he frame enough to clear the pan. Since it appears you have lift springs on there, lowering the bar will help you run the stock length end links if you want:

excellent thought .. but there is no way those would work for my application ...

I would need at least 6" blocks to clear the pan .. not good !! ..

OK, didn't know what height you needed.

Try something like this with an IFS or Tacoma sway bar behind the axle:
