Custom Long Travel IFS Issues
I put a long travel suspension system on my 91' pick up not too long ago. The installation was a huge pain. I purchased the kit, used, from classified ad on a forum. It was "supposedly" taken off the exact same vehicle. Upon further investigation it was not. The previous owner had an 88' that was rolled, he welded a newer 90's style cab on to a 88' frame. Long story short, I managed to modify the kit to fit my needs. The only issue I have is when I back up. The suspension sags completely to the bump stops. As soon as I move forward, the suspension picks back up and rides just fine. I installed the kit with new torsion bars, but used the old shocks. Does anyone have any idea what is causing the issue? Would blown shocks cause a massive sag like that? Thanks in advance.

Too much toe in trying to pull the wheels out? Did you just eyeball align it or have a shop do it? Sorry for the lame response but thats all i could come up with in 2wd. I know in 4x on asphalt i can get one side compressed and the other on droop but thats just axle bind.
