Marc you need to take it back apart and put that locker in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks good so far.
I am still banging my head about a lunch box locker or a selectable. The newer Powertrax no slip sounds a little better for a daily driver than the lockrite.

Mark, personally, I'd strip off that paint where the spacer mates up. The tire stays attached to the hub mostly from the clamping force of the bolts, not shear on the bolts. Having paint on the mating surfaces will reduce the friction force.
Also, as you know, spacers are notorious for breaking off the studs. Again, this is because the clamping force reduces for various reasons leaving the studs to be in shear and eventually breaking off. The paint will eventually wear thinner or compress slightly leaving less clamping force. I made sure mine were clean and bare metal.

Yes I do. My opinion on this is that there should be nothing on the surface. I even degreased it.
Oh, and this weekend we discovered one of the old bolts holding on the ifs calipers was too long. Took me a couple minutes to realize why my rotor wasn't turning, turns out one of the bolts was digging into it. The reason was that I had lost the original lock washer and just used a different one. The new lock washer was a hair thinner and let the bolt hit the rotor. I shaved all the bolts about 1/8" because I didn't want them to be that close to the rotor.

Yea Mikey...glad you made it home.
Last night I finished my springs..I took the stock overload off and replaced it with a smaller leaf from my YJ pack..hopefully it will work well when installed next week.

I told him since we always give him crap about his paint job and call it gold member, he should just embrace it and paint some parts on the axle gold.
He was like "What!??! I don't know, maybe"
Now look at him, High Steer/Hubs all Bling-Bling.

Oh settle down! We will take your new junk out and break it soon enough.
Just kidding. Hell I am anxious to see how it turns out and see it ramped up on some crazyness. I am not so anxious however to get smoked by that stink bug out on the trails though!
More pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marc said that since his baby is due right around the time that the Big Bear trip is coming up, he'll let me take it on the trip just to get it in the movie.
One major liability is the fact that it might not have a front drive shaft by then, so just locked 2wd.
