4runner Plate Bumper

Well I finally finished my plate bumper that I have been working on. I still need to reinforce the frame mounting points and maybe add a small stinger.

The final product... for now.

Yeah I still need to get a winch for it. I am not sure what kind of stinger I am going to go with yet. I would like for the main stinger to come up to the hood with a 10in or so flat top with 2 side supports going down in front of the lights.

This is it in the early stages.

I dont have very many pictures during the fabrication. The front plates have a 45 degree bend on the top.

The bumper was not complete in the picture where it has the IFS. We had not finished the wings or sides yet. You can also see that we tapered the front plates upwards. It took a long time to finish because I am lazy

I took this picture yesterday when I was jumping off my tractor. The bumper has more clearance than I thought. I was able to mount my driver side tire on amy brother's 37'' MTR without rubbing the bumper.
