Quick question, I know this is a relic of a thread, but I installed a snorkel on my 91 pickup yesterday, and I haven't been able to get the engine to start. This is the only modification to the Engine on this truck, everything else is stock. I extended the intake off of the airbox, out the drivers side quarter-panel, and up the A Post, when you turn the key the engine tries to start, pulls air through the pipe, but doesn't start. (I checked the battery, and opened the air box to see if maybe the engine wasn't getting enough air, then I disconnected the air hose off of the engine side of the airbox, and still no joy. I'm trying to get this truck on the trails for the 4th of July weekend (the part of it that I have off at least) while it's still nice up here in Alaska.

Thanks for any help!

Sorry guys, I'm an idiot. I found the problem. Loose connection inside of the check valve for the air intake.
