After some extensive searching I thought I would just ask it outright. Has anyone ever applied Herculiner (or another brand) roll on or spray on bed liner to the top rail Hard Top surfaces of the bed? I just did my 1st gen's bed as well as the rockers and and happy with the product and would like to also do the tops of the bed rails. The reason why is to protect the surface since my truck rolls all suer long with the hardtop off and over the many years of ownership they are a little rough. I figured the Herculiner would cover up the little problems.

The thing I am most worried about is the rubber seal from the hardtop. I am worried that the texture of the Herculiner will cause future removal problems by either sticking to the seal, or be too rough to provide a proper seal. y initial thoughts are that it shouldn't be an issue, but if anyone has any 1st hand experience, that would be great.
