1987 4runner cage

This is the first time we cage a 4runner so thought id post some pics. Its a 1987 v8 4runner. the owner is my cousin. me and a buddy are building the cage for him.

heres the front bumper

still gotta do the cab section and rear tire set up. Hes wanting to lean more towards the pre runner style

Gonna do the two standing up spares. they will be sunk into the floor about 7 inches and all worked into the rear bumper

i really like the fact that you ran the cage down to the frame rails not to many people know its the best and safest way to run your cage. it looks really good bud cant wait to see it finshed

looks really nice man! I like the brushguard that's probably what im gunna put on my truck next, so I have somewhere to mount a winch. I'll probably do a full cage at some point too, right now I just have a bar and some rock sliders.

i like how simple the rear bumber looks and how you tied the spare tires drop down in the bed. can wait to see it finished with the gussets in place

we gave my cuz a rediculously good price on this thing will never ever do it again for that much has taken a lot of thought and work so we are tagging our logo all over it so people know who made it. maybe it will bring some local work to us if not its all fun and experience
cage gusset

and the skid plate going on the front bumper
