22r to 22re swap

ok i have a complete 22re but its blown up. its from an 89. i am thinking of buying an 81 22r. how hard is it to swap it to a 22 re? as much help as possible is needed

The parts from the 89 will NOT fit on the 81 engine. You need to find an 85+ engine for the EFI parts to swap over.

ok so lets say i get an 85 22r how hard is it to swap to the 22re?

That is the engine you need. The parts will all swap over, simple and easy

so everything should go plain and simple? and is there a diagrahm for the vacuum lines there are so many
