I picked up my truck cause i missed my 4runner so much. I guess this will be my build thread. From start to finish here.
as of now the truck only has 31/10.50's and civic seats.
I picked this up when i was 14 as a project to build with my dad.The truck had smashed in to a car going 50 and was pretty bad. We rebuilt it and with only 80k figured it would be a good truck to hang on to.My plans changed and i sold it to my mom who killed it. She gave it to my brother and i worked out a deal to get it back.Anyways the motor was shortly trashed because of a broken timing chain. Motor #2 threw a rod and thats where we are now.

Before the motor blew 2 years ago

Right after i picked it up and we started ripping it apart to rebuild.

This is accually cleaned out some.It looked like people dug through the truck trying to take anything not bolted down



WE got this as a used motor from The Yota yard here in CO. They said it had 100k....Cant help but think someone tried to rebuild it or that there was some foul play at the yard because the rod bearing cap came off.Didnt brake but came off.


The new motor i scored from a friend.ran strong in his truck and swapped it out to go efi. Im redoing the bottomend before it goes in

Topper with interior for camping
gears and lockers

Im keeping the IFS because im not comfortable enough with the toyota world to tackle a SAS on my own.Maybe later

If anyone has the parts im looking for or grey interior bits let me know
Also looking for anything bigger then 4inch of suspension

Alpine mp3 and typeS 2 ways and 2 truck boxes with a 6/8/horn combo
Grant wheel

Civic seats
and its kinda clean!


Outide stuff and motor..
New motor is installed and running.i need to tune it but its running good enough to drive and get nowhere in a hurry(even before the lift and tires).

suspension now has trailmaster 4inch lift
procomp diff drop brackets
Rancho shocks.-I know its a mess of parts but it was cheap and works for what i want.
