Yeah the truck is a lot better now, ground clearance is much better. I have a locker on the way for it now and hope to have that done in a few weeks.

I was up at lookout lake on Saturday too, the road in is fun (just keeps going) but the lake its self is nothing I would want to take wife and kids too camping. No were to set up a camp and I would not swim in it.

I belive that washout in the picture is the road to Dickson lake, I hear there is another way in though.

Skewepill camp ground is amazing! one on the nicest camp areas I have found thus far. You can camp right on the lakeshore and the sites are very nice. I belive me and one or two other trucks are heading up there weekend after next for a weekend of camping. Your more than welcome to join us if you want. It will be kid frendly so no worries there if there comming. I will post the pictures I got of the camp area tonight.

I'm looking forward to exploring the area and finding some of the trails I have herd about up there.

Hey Jeremy,

which way did you go into chehalis? Did you just take the main chehalis fsr all the way up, or did you go thru mystery creek? I heard the bridge was washed out on the main road, and I'm wondering if that's one of the spots they fixed.

I love camping on that lake, the sites are awesome. I was planning on going there for my birthday this month, but changed all my plans cuz I heard they weren't gonna fix the washouts (friends need to get up there in cars).

The bridge is washed out and cars still will not make it in there. There are some washes along the way that you need to get thoug. 4x4 is still a good idea, your truck would have no problem if thtas it in your sig.

That sucks!..we could probably squeeze everyone in 2 trucks, but we need to tow a 21 ft boat in too. Sounds like that's definitely a no-go. Damn, I was getting all excited too. Any suggestions guys? I'll have to go up there this weekend and have a look around.

Yeah I would not drive a car in there, the washes that they have fixed are still very torn up and the shale they used ot fix it will kill the tires on any car. There is no way I would take a boat that big in there, it would not be comming back out.

Good luck finding some were for your birthday

I belive its just north of Squamish on the sea2sky. Sunny I'm not sure if I will be able to attend this, I see they are saying 1 locker needed and I have not got mine in yet. Not only that but the rock sliders I got 4 weeks ago are still on the floor of the garage.

Post up were we are meeting and if you think I have a chance at getting there. I would rather not need a pull up all the stuff, I know the waterfall is a test for 2 lockers.

I read about needing a locker for Hut lake on bc4x4, so now I'm thinking I might go on the 4wdabc maintenance run to Sunrise, Hale creek area. I went up to Hale creek two weeks ago, it was fun.

lower hut is no problem. its upper hut and the waterfall etc is the harder parts. but yeah..definitely do the maintenance run. i gotta work..so im out for saturday. sunday, im probably doin eagle ridge if you guys wanna jump in on that.

i still wouldnt mind doing another easy run n do some exploring. i want to check out the chehalis skwellepil area, n perhaps some other lakes..gotta see what i'll be able to drag a tent trailer through.

maybe we can do a norrish run through to chehalis & mystery creek over to harrison? im stuck this weekend and next weekend, but after that im good to go.

...do any of you guys have midweeks off by anychance? i usually have more free time mid week than weekends...

Yeah I'm going to try Eagle Sunday too, want to meet some were first and head up from there Sunny? Call my cell 778-552-3151 if so.

I would really like to explore the Chehalis area more, next weekend is the last free one I have for a few weeks. I'm on call the following one and maybe doing Wipsaw the weekend after that.

Let me know when you want to go though and I will see if I have time.

Weekends are the only time I really can get out and of that only 3 weekends a month (on call one a month). There is a rumor that we will be changing that up though so I may have mid week off from time to time.

Sunny see you Sunday, Huskyrunner see you Saturday.

Jeremy

Ya did not miss much, lots of heavy work and not alot of wheeling. I did just enough 4x4ing to bend a brand new idler arm and get a awsome coolant leak from the water pump or somthing. I'm thinking there a good excuse for a SAS swap and a 3.4L swap

LOL I just had to replace my idler arm, shocks, and a sway bar link last week...when i saw they had to be replaced...I was just like "screw it, cut out all that ifs junk...time to SAS!". And then my sense kicked in and I realized that if I couldn't really afford the new idler arm and stuff right now, I probably shouldn't be SASing. So funny how we can use the smallest things to try and justify a totally crazy expense. In my case it was really stupid tho, cuz at this point I'm nowhere near needing a solid axle...I want it...but I don't need it.

The piss off with mine was that I just spent $220 for it 2 weekes ago and they said it had a life time warranty. Call them today and its only for worn out bushings not bent ones......bastards.

SAS time I have no need for it and I know its going to cost me more than 15 idler arms but at least I never need a idler arm again

Hey "wheelingnoob" Do you have a small trailor for your 4runner?
I keep seeing a guy with a 4runner that looks just likes yours towing a small trailor, he seems to always take a double glance when he spots me
