Don't worry... I'll make sure Jeremy doesn't get lost... he's even got some nifty new (and fully functional) light switches now...

Good good, so are you gonna make it? Are you bringing the LC and the runner or just the LC?

Oh you're funny Jeremy.. very funny...

As a matter of fact, I was looking at the right side of my LC the other day and I decided... hmm... it needs more clearance past the passenger rear door... so I just drove it against a tree, and voila! More clearance...

Yeah right.... got a body shop estimate yesterday... a buddy of mine, so you know it's lower than normal.. w/o the parts (which are gonna set me back about $800) it's $2300 for the paint and labor... ugh.

Turboale-

Just the TLC is coming... the 4Runner is waiting to be finished, and I'm still trying to decide what axle combo I want... I guess I could slap some tires on it, but I already sold the OME lift off of it.... it's got lockers F/R though, so 90% of Uhwarrie should be no problem... Rocky Mount and Daniel would probably need some lift though... Hmm...

WP,
You will definately want a lift... Espcially if you have the sutpid to hitch I do that hangs down. I hit the hitch a few times with my OMEs in. You will definately want some tires too. If its wet at all, its going to be really hard and slick. I'm kinda scared actually. My revos are on their last leg. Hopefully they will warrenty them before the trip. If its dry though, you be in the clear.

ps, I'll host your pics

D00d.... I've run Uhwarrie front to back at least 30 times... Daniel, Rocky Mount..etc... I was just kidding about my 4Runner... I'm sure w/ a good spotter I'd do ok w/ A/T's, but I'm not ready to put it back out there til' the significant other says she's ready to wheel that ole' gal. Thanks for the concern though.

J

doesnt much matter really, i was thinking early enough to do like an hour or two of wheeling then have another hour of daylight left so setup a campsite. so leave raleigh around 3-4ish maybe? i dunno but we can work it out. if you need to stay later i can wait, theres a reason i got them roof lights

Well I won't get off work till 6:00, so the soonest I could be there would be around 7:30-8:00. WE shall see, I just don't want to be in yur position J and be getting there latter than everyone else and end up missing all the fun. So we just need to get a tim together and a place, I'm guessing the Outpost again. Now time is th only issue.

Well, what we did last time is to meet sorta earilyish like say... 12? Then go and setup camp right then before heading out on the trail so that when you get off the trail later, you can just chill, go for a swim, :beach: kick a few back and eat some good BBQ and then pass the hell out . Plus, if we are goona have multiple tents, it might be nice incase we need extra camp sites to get there before the rest of the weekend crew gets there. I'd be down to heading down before everyone else just to get that same spot, but not with a 4-5hr drive. I can't wait to head out there again!

edit:
Ok, i might be a rere, but I can't find the address for the outpost... I looked on the first thread, but couldn't find it and since I'm comming from a completely different direction, I will need new directions. I think matt was the one that posted them, but I can't find them.

I'm goin on friday. I think the earliest I could get there would be around 4. We could set up two meeeting times at that outpost for people getting there early and people getting there later. Maybe like 5 and 9? It's up to ya'll.

I need the address to the outpost as well.

Offtopic: turboale and I completly out wheeled a wrangler that we went with the otherday. Just thought Id throw that in.

Thanks Evilcow, I needed that as well.

It seems as though SSBogger and Turbo will be going earlier and possibly met up together. So if that is the case then we have at least 2 people going to stake out a good spot, and get their camp set-up. So who all wil be arriving later, like say towards 7 or 8 Friday night. I really would like to be there, but it seems like if I did that, that I would be missing any prime time to do some wheel'n. So is there anyone that will be arriving early Saterday morning. I might be able to do that and just just stay on through Sunday. I'm really up inthe air, I just don't want to be getting their alone and driving around in the dark, for one because I can't use my 4wd with the busted CV. Also I do't really want to put anyone out of their way by trying to meet me up at the Outpost if I am going to be the only one arriving at that time frame. J ave you and Mini decided when you are going to leave?

ok so from the best of my limited memory from driving around in the dark ( i didnt have a map either, i was just driving through the park from memory of looking at the map before, its a miracle i didnt end up wandering around all night just trying to find the highway again ) you guys camped at the badin lake campground correct ? so are we going to try to camp at the same area again? ( upper left hand side, off 597A ) would make things easy b/c then if anyone has to come later they KNOW what campsite to go to, instead of wandering through everything they drive past.
