If I'm ready to leave @ 5 friday from work I'll be there around 7-8. We will be camping at the lower loop of Badin Lake campground. On the lake. I will find a map of the CG and post it.

Sweet Evilcow and I will be arriving around the same time then, and since he has already been there before I won't be getting lost, wheee . I won't be able to stay till Sunday by any means. My dad is leaving for a business trip and is taking the Runner so I need to have it back unless I drive my wreck heap(black Runner, did't want you guys to think I drove a H**p ), so wil be leaving late Saterday night.

Just so I knowhow much I will bemissing so I can bitch about it the whole way home, did you do aot of wheel'n on Sun. or was that just a travel da for most?

 

since it was only 2 hrs for me and hyperlite, we stayed and tried to search out those hummers -- no not from those local women. we basically left b4 it was dark -- and got tons of looks on the way home.

i am not gonna be there the whole time just not sure if i am gonna leave sat night or not.

Sweet I'll do my bet to be there around that time, I can't promiss exactly 7 b/c I get off work at 6 so that means I will have to leave from there and fly the whole way down, I'll do my best. I'll be driving a Desert Dune(Silver) Runr, lifted w/ goofy looking stock tires, look for the awkward looking Runner.

 

wellllll I don't know if I'm going to make it or not. The main girl I wated to go isn't getting down here from DC til sunday. Plus, the new house is still kinda havoc b/c they are redoing the kitchen floor, bathroom floor and my roomates bedroom floor today, so all of his stuff is well, everywhere still. Its gonna be a sweet pad when we get it all in though. The mini bar is gonna be one of the best parts about it. I'll post pics when all is said and done. But not to get OT... I don't think i'm going to make it, b/c i'm sure as hell not doing it alone. If someone, espcially female... wants to go then I'll go. I just don't know may girls that are already here that don't play soccer who will be gone that weekend. Pretty much everyone is getting here that weekend, and are not gonna want o jump back in the car to drive around a forest. I really want to go, sounds like there is gonna be a good show of people this time. I really wish I could be a part. I'll be there on the next one this winter for sure though.

ps, the cable (and internet) doesn't get hooked up til next thursday! grrrr, so my posting will be minimal til then, but you guys better take some pics. Mr rapid fire doesn't look like hes gonna mke it... (as of now)

SS yeah Uwharrie closes inthe winter, I'm not sure of the exact date, I know it's late in the fall though, so there still might be time for at least one more run. Either way it's going to be a long drive for Turo from GA, I have family that lives there and it is at least a 6hr drive, so that would make it 5hrs to Uwharrie.

Sorry to hear your going to miss out man that sucks. I vote to be the picture man for the weekend. Seeing how I will be riding along, my CV and driveshafts won't be able to be fixed by then.

So you guys bring the cameras(preferabley digital so we can share w/ Turbo) and I'll bring the trigger finger. I personally don't have digi cam, so I can't help in that dept. I'm sure one of yall do thouhgh. Can't wait to c-yall there.

 

Hey guys. I'm not gonna be able to make it. I was hoping to come down Sunday morning because I work 10-hours on Saturday but my cousins are coming in town from Atlanta and we're taking them to the Panthers game. I will def be there next time.

Jeremy you missed me, I will be there, late Friday meeting up wth evilcow, or whoever else gets there around 7, and saying late Saterday then leaving along with Minidisc. I won't be driving, but I will be full time camera man/spotter for everyone ifthey want or need one. If anyone has a video camera bring it,I cantape the whole thing too.

Also I'm wondering, what are some good ideas for food ha everyone is bringing, I don't know what equiptment will be available for cooking or what not. I hav an idea of what I would bring, but I don't wanna be stuc eating a cup o' noodles while there is a grill next to me and everyone is munhing on a big burger. So just le me know some general ideas of what will be available there to cook with, or what yall are thinking of for food.

 

doh ! so sorry, like i said before if i missed anyone it was on accident. all im bringing is a tent, stuff to sleep on, me, and my truck im assuming jason will bring the little grill he bought in VA or someone else brings something similar. i dont plan on buying groceries till friday afternoon, but remember its hillbilly ville in troy so everything closes early and barely anything stays open on the weekends.

 

stump -- they have fire pits with grates over them so all we have to do is build a fire (probally best to use a fire log or charcoal) and cook -- we searched for atleast an hour to find wood for our fire.

i say bring what you want to eat that way you eat what you want and as much as you want -- we can always hit up the outpost or go into troy.

i am still not sure if i am gonna be there on fri or sat morning -- i can find the camp site fri night but if we are meeting on sat at the outpost what time?? 10am?? I am definally coming but dont wait on me i will turn to channel 10 on my little moto and try and find you guys on the trail if we arnt meetin at the outpost.

ps -- turbo is weak!! prolax bring the cousins they aint ever seen real 4wheelin they dont wanna see the panthers anyways they can always see the falcolns
