October 9th-12th is Fall Break for NC State. I wanted to see if there was anyone interested in going down to Uwharrie for a few days. I might be there camping and hiking around anyway.

If I have one of those days off from work I might look into making my way down there for at least one good last run before they close it up.

nothin worse than not doing what you want for a girl just to have her blow you off (ok that would be worth it for you who have their mind in the gutter) and miss out on what you wanna do. i think they do that on purpose -- as a test -- that you cant pass no matter what you do -- damn people like to play games

 

Yeah I'm with Matt, that's wrong for peopel to play games like that, especially girls with their "If you REALLY love/like me you'd skip the trip to spend time with me". I've been in both boat my ex hated me going camping and wheeling, and now my girl gets mad if I do those things w/o her, I much prefer the dual mode girls, much easier to get along with and keep happy. Come on Turbo you gota come, you missed last time. Tell your girl to cry you a river and come join the boys . That is of course if we're all able to make it ourselves.

 

hey jason, im planning that weekend to do the actual swap since we have 4 full days off class. its pretty much a for sure thing too since ive got all the funding taken care of now, so if anyone wants to come help/observe etc thats the current plan. i know its sorta sudden but thats the way it is.

 

so whos gonna make it. Ill probably be there with a few friends. They are going on the 8th and im gonna meet up with them on the 9th then we will stay through the 10th. Also could someone tell me what trails a good ones? Are duch jon and daniel the hardest ones? Im just asking so i wont come up on any suprises. Im only going with 2 other ppl and we dont want to have to spot too much. thanks guys!

This is just a friend, but I know she wants me. So there is a good chance I will be getting "something out of if" matt, and I havent seen her in 4 months. Plus, she wants to take me to montana and switerland to ski, and yeah, I love 4Wheeling, but I also really love skiing. The reason I didn't come last time was b/c nobody wanted/could go because everyone was moving down still and I wasn't going to make a 6hr trip by myself. I also don't have my lift all set yet. I need to crank up the downeys, its just a super pain in the ass. I think i'm going to ask a buddy at the firestone place to use one of his lifts to do it. I also need to go home thurs to chance a court date and pick up my rock crawlers from Ryan in ATL . Its going to be a crazy weekend. I really want to come, this just isn't the weekend for it. I'll definately make the next one. Espcially the VA trip to go skiing!!
Wolfpack, I have a girl to go wheeling with, and she would love to come up (maybe even bring her jeep) but this just isn't the weekend for it. Sorry I'm going to have to sit this one out, plus it doesn't seem like its going to be the best weather either. Its suppose to rain here all week. Though, don't trust the weather thing, the time we went it was suppose to rain all weekend and it was perfect all weekend long! I was so happy, I was prepared for the worst. Anyway, I got to get to work on some thumbnails for color theory.

 

So I guess no one else is gonna make it? Its gonna be a muddy trip!

 

I can't my fall break is this weekend and Mon. Tues. So I still have classes, plus my CV is still not fixed. I'll be getting a 1st gen soon if all works out, and then you can count me in on anything you plan, even if it means skipping classes. I've been deprived, I haven't wheel'd since Uwharrie:cry: :cry: .
